Lodging & Meals (for group guests only)

The Ranch offers accommodations in six cozy and comfortable A-frame cabins. Each of the cabins sleeps four and includes a private porch, living room, bedroom and bath on the main floor, and a loft bedroom upstairs. A living room sofa opens into a double bed if needed. The cabins are a minute's walk from the lodge and sit amongst an aspen grove, facing the pond with Sheep Mountain providing a stunning backdrop. They are also a short stroll away from our open air hot-tub, unmatched for its nighttime celestial viewing.

There are also several choices of accommodations in the main lodge – two large rooms upstairs, and a master suite on the main floor.  Each contains private baths, and large windows offering spectacular views of the ranch and surrounding mountain peaks.

The lodge is the social center for our guests with its large dining room and sunny southern-facing deck, professionally staffed kitchen, yoga studio, gift shop, and large, inviting living room with a wood stove and log furniture of the Molesworth tradition handmade on the ranch a half-century ago. Bronzes and paintings portray the West's ranching and wildlife heritage. In a cozy nook you'll find percussion instruments, games, puzzles and a small library comprising local history books, guides to the region and numerous novels including many by Montana authors which guests are welcome to borrow during their stay. Adjacent to the “big” room is a spacious grand view porch with views up Paradise Valley and of Emigrant Peak where guests enjoy early morning coffee as they watch the sunrise.

Dine on Western gourmet meals in the welcoming historic dining room, where our resident chef creates a variety of feasts. Ranch-raised organic beef and locally grown vegetables are features of our healthy and diverse menus.

With advance notice, special dietary needs are happily accommodated. Specific kitchen services such as custom menus, birthday cakes (ask about chef's exceptional cheesecakes) and hors d'oeuvres are available for an additional charge.

We provide juices, coffee, teas, hot chocolate, hot apple cider and milk, plus healthy snacks throughout the day. Although we have no liquor license, you are invited to bring your own favorite alcoholic beverages, mixers and soda - the barnwood-paneled refrigerator and bar area in the dining room are available for storing and serving your libations.

If you're up early to enjoy the often-breathtaking sunrise, greet the day with a steaming mug of fresh-ground, organic coffee while sitting in a rocking chair on the big porch or curled up in front of the lodge's stone fireplace. Our breakfasts are hearty and include fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and a variety of cereals and breadstuffs for toasting. Entrees range from steel cut oats to sourdough berry pancakes or fresh, local scrambled eggs with feta cheese and herbs along with breakfast potatoes and thick-sliced bacon.

Midday meals may include chef's renowned grilled chicken Caesar salad, house-made black bean, carrot ginger or creamy tomato soup, a classic turkey club sandwich or a medley of healthy vegetable and grain salads, always accompanied with fresh-from-the-oven cookies. For adventurers who plan a long day out exploring or traveling into Yellowstone, we will gladly put together a scrumptious sack lunch - just let us know your plans.

Dinners typically start with salad or soup and fresh-baked bread or dinner rolls. Entrees vary from ranch-raised organic White Park beef tenderloin to local trout to locally-raised bison or pork specialties. Desserts such as fruit pies, chocolate torte, tiramsu or something lighter like homemade ice cream or citrus sorbet round out the evening meal.

After hours, guests find coffee, teas, juices and snacks set out for nibbling.
