Arriving in the heart of Yellowstone country, we find a landscape shaped by glaciers and volcanoes, where the mountains are still growing and the rivers continue to cut through a geography whose names trace its history, its people. Homesteaded in the late 1800s, B Bar Ranch today operates as a working cattle ranch (focused on rare-breeds livestock conservation), meeting and retreat locale, winter recreation area, natural resource research site and, most importantly, as a diverse landscape. It is a home and community of individuals with varied backgrounds, all of whom are committed to preserving and protecting its natural and agricultural character. The long days we put in are rewarded with a deeply satisfying way of life and the opportunity to practice the stewardship we preach in a place called ‘paradise.’
