Dine on Western gourmet meals in the homey and historic dining room, where our resident chef creates a variety of feasts. Ranch-raised organic beef and vegetables are features of our healthy and diverse menus.
With advance notice, special dietary needs are happily accommodated. Specific kitchen services such as custom menus, birthday cakes (ask about chef's exceptional cheesecakes) and hors d'oeuvres are available for an additional charge.
We provide juices, coffee, teas, hot chocolate, hot apple cider and milk, plus healthy snacks throughout the day. Although we have no liquor license, you are invited to bring your own favorite alcoholic beverages, mixers and soda - the barnwood-paneled refrigerator and bar area in the dining room are available for storing and serving your libations.
If you're up early to enjoy the often-breathtaking sunrise, greet the day with a steaming mug of fresh-ground, organic coffee while sitting in the dining room or curled up in front of the lodge's stone fireplace. Our breakfasts are hearty and include fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and a variety of cereals and breadstuffs for toasting. Entrees range from hearty 7-grain cereal to sourdough berry pancakes or fresh, local scrambled eggs with feta cheese and herbs along with garden-grown heirloom breakfast potatoes and peppery thick-sliced bacon.
Midday meals may include chef's renowned grilled chicken Caesar salad, house-made black bean, carrot ginger or creamy tomato soup, a classic turkey club sandwich or a medley of healthy vegetable and grain salads, always accompanied with fresh-from-the-oven cookies. For adventurers who plan a long day out exploring or traveling into Yellowstone, we will gladly put together a scrumptious sack lunch - just let us know your plans.
Dinners typically start with salad or soup and fresh-baked bread or dinner rolls. Entrees vary from ranch-raised organic White Park beef tenderloin to Flathead Lake whitefish to locally-raised bison or pork specialties. Desserts such as homemade fruit pies, chocolate torte, tiramsu or something lighter like homemade ice cream or citrus sorbet round out the evening meal.
After hours, guests find coffee, teas, juices and snacks set out for nibbling.
